“Legendary” created by Portland’s J. Lee (“Embers of War”), begins production in Oregon this fall as a full-scale transmedia project. The series will be enhanced by a highly interactive website, plans for three separate novels, several short stories, and a series of comic books, against a backdrop of Oregon’s breathtaking scenery (50 horses and 85 acres of terrain on Mckay Creek Stables, will make up much of Lavornia’s realm).
Joined by executive producer Guido Orio (Golden Summit Digital Media), and writer/director Barry Morgan (Koldcast original thriller “Arcana”), “Legendary” has already been hailed as “Game of Thrones” for the online audience, with George R.R. Martin (creator of “Game of Thrones”) taking notice at a recent convention and recording a number of promotional spots for the series.
Levy stated, “I’m honored to be a part of something that fantasy geeks and new media enthusiasts like myself can all enjoy. I have a love for the fantasy genre, and am excited to play a role that will let me use my earlier training as a theater actor. I’m looking forward to delving into this dark and mischievous character.”
