The 7 Types of People You Meet At Film Festivals

Film festival audiences are among some of the most ardent fans of film and fun people to interact with.  When you’re at a film festival you are immersed in cinema.  Even a poorly run film fest will attract supporters of the arts.  Most of the people you run into at a film festival can be categorized into a few different categories.

The easiest audience to get to come to a film festival are the relatives of the filmmakers that are screening there.  Most of them aren’t exactly film nuts, but they’re happy to support their loved-one’s dreams, even if they don’t exactly comprehend what exactly it is they do for a living (this is especially true of relatives of film producers).
