FilmSnobbery, an online publication is looking for a regular contributor to review the newest independent films and indie DVD releases and manage other contributors on the east coast. You would be responsible for at least one film review per week consisting of no fewer than 400 words per review, managing other contributors in your region, and acquiring independent films for review from filmmakers and distributors. It is very important that the applicant be able to be honest and forthright with their criticisms, while also being able to present counter-arguments as to how a filmmaker could have made their movie better. Job Requirements

• Some knowledge of independent film
• Active in the social media scene
• Knowledge of the WordPress platform (some training can be provided)

• Able to take editorial criticisms
• Ability to meet deadlines when required
• Some previous writing experience a plus
