Job Information	Job Description We’re looking for a writer interested in covering the independent horror scene. We want weekly articles consisting of indie horror film analysis and reviews. This is a dedicated column that you will be solely responsible and credited for. It’s a great opportunity for someone in the indie film industry looking to get known in the horror genre. If the applicant wishes to attend conventions, film festivals, or screenings related to the indie horror genre then we will do everything we can to make sure you are credentialed for those events. There are monetary compensation possibilities in the future for the accepted applicant depending on ad revenue generated by this particular column. Please apply with a relevant writing sample. Job Requirements * Contribute at least 1 article or film review per week relating to the indie horror genre. * Come up with creative ways to highlight the genre of indie horror including analysis, interviews, reviews, contests and competitions, or anything else your mind can conjure. * Ability to work on deadline when requested. * Knowledge of the WordPress platform (some training can be provided) * Able to take editorial criticisms

You would be responsible for at least one film review per week consisting of no fewer than 400 words per review. It is very important that the applicant be able to be honest and forthright with their criticisms, while also being able to present counter-arguments as to how a filmmaker could have made their movie better.
