Larry Daley is back and the museum is alive again, but this time it’s the Smithsonian. The Museum of Natural History was closed for renovations and its contents are being held in storage at the Smithsonian. Everyones favorite museum exhibits are back in “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” a great adventure full of wonderful stunts, effects, and humor for the entire family.

Everyone will laugh along with Ben Stiller back as Larry Daley, who was the night guard at The Museum of Natural History in the first “Night at the Museum”. Other stars the viewers will recognize are Owen Wilson as Jebediah Smith, the miniature cowboy, and Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt. These characters and others, such as Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart and Steve Coogan as Octavius, really help bring the museum to life. Their mannerisms truly reflect the person whom they were created to help educate about.

The stunts and the effects of “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” were quite impressive. With a bigger budget comes more opportunities and that’s exactly what this film has. This movie’s budget was $40 million larger than its predecessor, which they used to help enhance the special effects and stunts. Another thing that helps the amount, size, and quality of the effects would be the size of the museum that comes to life. The Smithsonian is the largest museum in the world; it is giant and full of more historical characters to come alive.

“Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” keeps the viewer laughing almost throughout the entire movie. The humor is very family oriented, so grab the kids and head to the movies. Just imagine a bunch of bobble-head Einsteins and, of course, Ben stiller’s character getting slapped by the monkeys.

“Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” is a great sequel to “Night at the Museum” with its awesome humor, stunts, effects, and acting. The adventure continues in this movie with even more historical figures as well as some more recent ones like Darth Vader and Oscar the Grouch. This movie is definitely a must see for anyone who likes a good laugh and action.
